“Champions League final is just the Start” Mohamed Salah Claims

Liverpool prolific forward, Mohamed Salah has buried deep in the sand all links pointing him away from Anfield, saying that the Champions League final is where it all begins.

The Egyptian king had a major role in Liverpool success this season, progressing to the Champions League final as they will be facing 12th time Champions League winners in Kiev, Ukraine.

European giants will be trying to land the Egyptian forward in their respective club ahead of a summer transfer window due his record-breaking form this season.

However, in recent interviews Mo Salah has discarded all rumours linking him away from Merseyside in the summer claiming he is happy with life at Anfield.

Talking to the Telegraph, Salah said: “I’m very happy here, I’m very happy and everything is fine.

“Of course I have ambitions for the future with Liverpool. As you can see we had a great season and now we are in the Champions League final and everyone is excited.

“It is just the start. This is my first year here and it is the same for some other players. I didn’t watch all the games last season of the team but this year we have had an unbelievable year.

“We are very comfortable about playing in the Champions League next season. On the way to the final we beat top teams like Man City and Roma. It is just the beginning.

“We have two games now starting with a game on Sunday. It’s a very important game and then the Champions League final, but I’m very happy here.”

Since his arrival from AS Roma last summer, the 25-year-old forward has been in an outstanding form for his new club, bagging 43 goals and 14 assists in 50 appearances in all competitions.
