Transfer News: Leeds United Set to make another Move George Hirst in January

Leeds United Boss Thomas Christainsen might just be back in the January transfer window to rekindle their interest in Sheffield Wednesday forward George Hirst after recent fails last summer on the deadline day.

According to reports, the Whites could just be return back to making a deal for the 18-year-old finally comes through in the winter transfer window. Leeds should be ready for some competition as Premier League contender Leicester City are also said to have made a £2 million in the summer, with the youngster tipped for a better future in Europe.

Hirst has proved himself worthy of a striker, both in the International level and Club level, earned himself caps for England in the Under-20 level. The English-born forward has been noted to deadly in front of goal, and with the Premier League Champions of 2015/16 jumping in to the race for the forward means a bright future lies ahead for the England youngster.

The 18-year-old has only been able to make himself two appearances for the Sheffield Wednesday Senior team, with that leaving rumours questioning if he could make an impact in Championship.

However, after the sale of Chris Wood to Premier League outfit Burnley, the Whites became desperate in signing a potential replacement to the team with the club and has added a few ranks to their name; Jay Roy-Grot, Caleb Ekuban, Pawel Cibicki and Pierre-Michel Lasogga.

Leeds boss, Christainsen might just try to land Hirst come winter, should the opportunity present itself. But the youngster want continue his development with the Wednesday for now.
