Radja Nianggolan completes swap deal move to Inter Milan

Radja Nainggolan

Belgium and AS Roma midfielder Radja Nainggolan has completed a move to domestic rivals Inter Milan in a swap deal that saw Davide Santon and Nicolo Zaniolo move to the Stadio Olimpico this summer.

The Swap deal was reported by BBC to have given the Belgian midfielder the worth of £33m, which sees Inter paying £21 million and also include former Newcastle United defender Santon and Inter midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo in the deal.

Having signed a four-year deal with AS Roma in the summer of 2017 to send away all transfer links pointing him away from the club, Nainggolan has now also put pen to paper also a four year deal with Nerazzurri in a swap deal this summer.

“Radja Nainggolan is officially a new Inter player,” Inter wrote on their website.

Nainggolan, who joined Roma from Serie A side Cagliari in 2014, helped the Romans to the semi finals of the Champions League last season scoring a stunner in the match, but was unable to get his team past that stage as the match ended 7-6 on aggregate.

“Radja Nainggolan is officially a new Inter player. The Belgian has signed a contract with the Nerazzurri that runs until 30 June 2022,” the statement continues.

In other news, Javier Pastore has also completed his move from Paris Saint-Germain to Roma after passing his medicals on Tuesday.
