After deploying an impressive performance to help the Hammers secure a 3-1 win against, summer signing Issa Diop has been praised by agent Mark McKay, who thanks West Ham United co-chairman David Sullivan for signing the player, according to Daily Mail.
The Hammers signed Diop from French club Toulouse during the summer transfer window for a fee reported to be worth £22 million.
Since joining Manuel Pellegrini‘s team in the summer, the French International performance has been excellent so far gone this season including an impressive performance against Manchester United last weekend.
And agent McKay, who tipped off the Hammer about Dimtri Payet, is very much happy with the defender speaking to Daily Mail, McKay said: “Plenty of clubs were talking about Issa, but they were all waiting for each other to make a move.
“It was clear he was a top talent. He’s quick, good in the air, good on the ball and his legs are telescopic. Credit to David Sullivan, he spoke to Mario Husillos and pushed the hardest.
“In a market where clubs are demanding £75m for a centre back, they’ve got themselves a great prospect.”
Trying to adapt to Pellegrini’s of football, West Ham United struggled in the first four games of the Premier League and are now in a very good shape.
Which they proved against Chelsea – holding them to share points of the match – also beating Manchester United in a 3-1 win.
However, Issa Diop will be willing to continue his great form for the Hammers as they will be facing Brighton in a Friday night match.
