Arsenal and Chelsea to Battle for the Signature of Luis Enrique

Former Barcelona boss, Luis Enrique had an impressive spell in his stay at the Camp Nou which will see him fit for any of the Big six in the Premier League.

Several top European clubs have been linked with a move for the ex-Barca manager man, with Chelsea and Arsenal showing some desperation in landing the man in their respective clubs next season.

According to report from Mundo Deportivo, Enrique is a top target for Russian Billionaire Roman Abramovich in his summer plans, while the North London club are reported to be keen on the Manager and could have an upper hand in landing him at Emirates Stadium in the summer, as former Barcelona sporting director Raul Sanllehi, who is now in charge of Arsenal directing board since November 2017, share a connection with Enrique.

But recent report seem to have emerged that the Spanish manager have already come to terms with the Blues to replace current coach Antonio Conte at the Stamford Bridge this coming summer transfer window.

Chelsea boss, Conte might just be forced to step down from the managerial role next season, after bad developments and poor form in both domestic and European competitions. With a lot of pressure being exerted on him and Enrique will be available to replace him after being assured of the signing of Marco Asensio from Real Madrid squad.

However, the Gunners are yet to make an official statement about change in a managerial position due to the availability of their long-term manager, but it will be turn in a new leaf should the North London club be able to get rid of Arsene Wenger this season.

The 47-year-old Spanish coach, won himself and the added to the Barcelona ranks a treble in his very first season in charge with the Catalonians and a double in his second season.
