Reports from the media is currently stating that Championship club, Aston Villa will be facing a stiff competition in their prospects of chasing Capri FC defender Tobias Pachonik against Premier League club Southampton.
Should the Villans be able to finalise a deal for the defender, it will be without the list of competitions they will face. With several European clubs keen on securing the signature of the 23-year-old defender, one being Serie A outfit, Fiorentina and German club, Eintracht Frankfurt are currently on the look out for the defender this summer.
The 23-year-old defender was reported to be running down his last month in his contract, and will become a free agent this summer having failed to agree on a new contract extension with the Serie B side, who ended their 2017/18 campaign at the 11th spot in the League.
During his campaign with Capri, the young star provided a good show, which has seen him earn caps for Germany Under-19 and Under-20 international level.
After failing to secure a promotion back to the Premier League losing to Fulham 1-0 in the Championship Play-offs final, the Villans will be keen to strengthen their team for next season and at the same time keep an eye on the Financial Fair Play rules.
Tobias Pachonik will, however, be a good signing for the Villans as they look to comeback stronger next season.
