The 25-year-old striker will be joining the Hoves on June 8 penning down a five-year deal for a fee yet to be known, according to reports from BBC.
The Romania International has scored a total of 18 goals for the Spanish club in 69 appearances since his arrival at the club two years ago.
Albion manager, Chris Hughton said: “He is a player that we have tracked for some time, and he will add a new dimension to our attacking options.
“He is a very hard-working player, and has proven his quality at the highest level in Spain, as well as at international level. I am looking forward to working with him next season.”
However, with good stats on his side, Florin Andone was unable to save Deportivo from relegation as they finished the season with 29 points, with 14 points needed to ensure safety.
The former Cordoba forward has won 21 caps for his country Romania, with three coming from Euro 2016.
