Following his big money and unexpected move to Juventus from Real Madrid, Cristiano Ronaldo has finally come out to open up about his summer move claiming he didn’t face any difficulty in quickly making a decision on joining the Bianconeris.
The former Madrid attacker put an end to his nine-year stint with the Los Blancos since joining up in the summer of 2009 moving to Italy this summer which is a surprise to everyone in the media.
According to reliable reports, the estimated worth of the move is said to be £105m as the Portuguese attacker is looking to add the Serie A title to his many trophies and possibly win the Champions League with the Old Lady this season.
Ronaldo claimed he was very pleased with the warm-hearted reception he was shown to by the Juve fans after his big money move to Turin and being presented to their many fans at the Stadium.
Talking in an interview to broadcaster DAZN via Sport Review, Ronaldo said: “I never expected to play in this team, but some things happen naturally, for me it was an easy decision, what was done in Madrid is incredible, I won everything, my family lives there, but it’s part of the past.
“The small details make the big difference at the end of the day so. I would say what I saw in the stadium helped. And, of course, when the people start to applaud me in the stadium I was like: ‘Wow’.
“It surprised me a lot because this has never happened in my life, so it was an unbelievable moment.”
Popularly known as Cr7, the Portuguese will now be ever more desperate to help the Italian giants win the Champions League this time after ending as runners-up five times in their 32 years run of the European title.
Juventus was able to triumph over Lazio earlier as they won 2-0 with Ronaldo failing to score again, but manager Massimiliano Allegri is not bothered with him not being on the score sheet as he still needs to adapt to the team.
