Eden Hazard hints at “Dream” Real Madrid move

Premier League giants Chelsea could be on the verge of losing their most important player Eden Hazard to Real Madrid following his latest comments of a “dream.”

Last week it was reported that Chelsea was in the talks to tie down their Belgian forward to a new contract extension, having been linked with a move to European Champions repeatedly over the last three summer transfer window.

Hazard, who still has two years left on his contract with the Blues, has been on a fine form under new manager Maurizio Sarri scoring seven goals in Premier League this season so far.

Speaking to the Press, Hazard said via BBC: “I don’t want to say, ‘yes, I am signing a new contract’ and then in the end I don’t end up signing,”

“I want what’s good for me, but I want what’s good for the club because the club has given me everything.

“So I will see. Sometimes in my head, I wake up in the morning and think I want to go. Sometimes I think I want to stay.

“It is a hard decision. It is my future.”

The Belgian forward helped Chelsea thrash Southampton in a 3-0 win on Sunday scoring a goal and assisting another to continue their unbeaten start to the season.

The-27-year-old Belgian attacker says he has been dreaming of joining Los Blancos since he was a kid further tagging Real Madrid as the “best club in the World” revealing there could still be room for one more transfer in his professional career.

“That’s why I spoke after the World Cup and I said that I think it is time to change because I played a great World Cup,” added Hazard, who said back in July that “it might be time to discover something different”.

“I am playing good football at the moment.

“Real Madrid are the best club in the world. I don’t want to lie today. It is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming about this club.

“We will see. I don’t want to talk about this every day, I don’t have time. But we will talk about my future soon.”

However, team-mate Ross Barkley is currently hoping the Belgian superstar signs a new contract to extend his stay at the Stamford Bridge.

“He’s a magnificent player,” Barkley told a media conference via Goal.

“You can see how he has started the season and the World Cup that he had, you don’t get many players like him. He’s capable of magic at any moment.

“He knows in his mind what he wants but I’d love to play with him for many more years.”

Barkley receive his call up to the England squad for international duty due his impressive form for Chelsea since the beginning of the 2018/19 campiagn.

Chelsea will return to Premier League action next week Saturday as they will be facing their former manager’s side Manchester United once again in match day 9.
