Breathing the air of survival in their first season at the Premier League, Huddersfield Town looking to strengthen up their team have now signed central midfielder Juninho Bacuna from Eredivible outfit FC Groningen.
The 20-year-old Dutch midfielder has now joined up the David Wagner team in a three-year deal that will see at the club till 2021, with the choice of activating another year.
Huddersfield boss, Wagner said via BBC: “He’s a young, hungry player that has already played a lot of football for someone of his age.
“Even if he’s still very young, he strengthens our options in this position.”
The young midfielder is said to be the younger brother of Reading FC winger Leandro Bacuna.
“He’s an exciting midfielder that offers all the aggression of a defensive midfielder and the technical skills and mobility of an offensive midfielder,” Wagner added.
“We will give him all the support he needs to make the best out of the potential he definitely has.”
Juninho Bacuna, who has appeared for FC Groningen in the Europa League back in…., has also represented his country Netherlands at the under-21 international level.
