Weeks into the opening of the transfer window, we have seen some crazy signing in Europe with Rangers making their seventh signing this summer, with AS Roma also not relenting they have added to their club Javier Pastore as their eight signing this summer.
Pastore has now completed his move to Stadio Olimpico from Paris Saint-Germain for a fee reported to be €24.7 million in a five-year deal that will be running till 30th of June 2023.
“I am very happy to be here at Roma, it is great to return to Italy, and to do it with such a great club,” Pastore said to Roma official website.
“I hope to repay in full all the enthusiasm, support and affection that Roma fans have shown me already.”
Showing appreciation for his new signing, Roma Sporting director Monchi said: “The signing of Javier makes me very happy – because we are talking about the sort of player who can excite the fans who he plays for.
“In my career as a sporting director I have signed a lot of players, but Javier might just be the one with the most talent.”
A play-making and creative midfielder, Pastore, who joined PSG in the summer of 2011, earned 250 appearances for the club recording some number of trophies like: five Ligue 1 titles, Coupe de France four times, five French Super Cup and also five French League Cup.
