In a bids of strengthening up the team after securing a Premier League football from the Championship last season, Cardiff City’s manager Neil Warnock have been very busy in the transfer window this summer.
Murphy, who becomes Warnock’s first summer signing since promotion back to the English Top Flight, was very impressive for the Canaries last season at the EFL Championship playing as a winger, scored 11 goals for Norwich City.
Warnock said via Sky Sports: “Josh is a player I’ve watched for a number of years now and he’s always excited me when he runs with the ball.
“I think he’s at the right age now with his best still to come. He can play an instrumental part in helping us to stay in the Premier League and I know he’s looking forward to the challenge.
“He’s been my number one target since the end of last season.”
Josh Murphy graduated from the Norwich academy system and signed his first professional contract back in 2013.
