In the hopes of finally ending their spell in the Championship and getting a promotion to the Premier League, Leeds United are currently being linked to Bolton attacking midfielder Josh Vela.
According to the reports from Daily Mail, which claims that the Championship side are gunning for their rivals midfielder to strengthen up their midfield in the hopes firing them to the English Top Flight.
Leeds United are not the only Championship side keen on signing the midfielder as rivals Derby County and Sheffield Wednesday and even the newly promoted club Brighton are also keeping a close eye on the attacker.
Bolton are currently in some financial troubles and cold be forced to sell their star come January, when the transfer window finally pops open.
In the Leeds midfield, Samuel Saiz is the only creative playmaker, and could still welcome some competitions as he also needs to be rested, which will be where Vela comes in.
The 23-year-old is quickly developing into a top player in the Championship as he has played a major role in returning Bolton from the bottom of the table to a much better side.
Being used in the number 10 position, the Bolton youngster has found the back of the net twice and further providing two assists in his first 10 appearances for his club this season.
With his current form, Vela could be destined for greatness elsewhere should his club sell him out during the winter transfer window.
However, Leeds are the current leaders in the race to sign the 23-year-old but should be ready for some fierce competition if they are willing to land the attacking midfielder during the winter.
