Leeds United boss Thomas Christiansen is desperately in need of a replacement for Chris Wood, and he is currently eyeing up wolverhampton wanderers star Nouha Dicko with little time left, the Leeds boss might need to hasten up his move.
According to reports from the Mirror, Championship rivals Hull City were said to be interested in the striker and has seen £3million bid rebuffed by the Wolves, as they valued their forward much more.
The Wolves board might not be willing to let their striker leave the club as they are currently stuck with two options upfront, with Dick acting as a backup option.
However,Leeds might just be keen on the signing the 25-year-old, after seeing a £6million offer rejected for Middlesbrough forward Rudy Gestede, with Gary Monk preferring to keep the forward.
Dicko has not always been much of a threat in fornt of goal, as he is mostly used as a backup striker and with that he still managed himself 35 goals in 107 appearances for the Wolves providin 16 assists in the process.
The 25-year-old srtiker can be multitasked n the pitch as he can also play the role of a number 10 and his pace and ability to hold the ball will see him a better replacement of Wood to Christiansen.
Wolves and Leeds are both looking for that potential player that could fire them to promotion to secure themselves a spot in the Premier League.
The wolves hold the upper hand on deciding where their Striker moves to with the 25-year-old still having three years left on his contract. If the Whites are willing to splash an offer worth £5million before the transfer closes, they could get a striker to fire them to the English Top flight.
