With the sudden signing of AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson Becker for a record fee of £66.8m to Anfield, the England-born goalkeeper has immediately moved down the line to become the Reds fourth choice in goal.
Being already by his country Wales four times, the 25-year-old goalie has only been fortunate to appear for the Liverpool team three times.
“I’ve come here to develop my all-round game and hopefully help deliver some more success,” Ward said via BBC.
Reports claim that Wrexham will be having their share in sell-on clause deal that took Danny Ward to Leicester City.
Ward, who spent most of 2016/17 season with Huddersfield Town, is now the Foxes fourth signing following the arrival of James Maddison, Jonny Evans and Ricardo Pereira.
Making claims about his new signing to the club, Leicester manager Claude Puel said: “Danny will give us even more competition in the squad, which is crucial for us ahead of what will be another very competitive Premier League campaign.”
Ward will be the Foxes second choice to their number one Kasper Schmeichel but could be given a huge chance to fight for a place in the first team.
