A lot has happened to the Celtic team since the opening and closing of the transfer window, with some of their fans left with rage following the sale of their favorite star Moussa Dembele on the deadline day.
The French-born striker, who is the fans’ favorite at the Celtic Park in his brief two season, left the club to join Ligue 1 club Lyon revealing his plans for a new fresh challenge after winning all he could with the Bhoys.
Many of their fans have slammed the club approving the sale of the French man on the deadline day with no time to bring in an ideal replacement for Dembele.
Could it be a flop season for Celtic this season after failing to bring in another striker for fill the void left by Moussa Dembele?
Or has Celtic already signed the replacement, manager Brendan Rodgers seems to know what he is doing having secured the stay of striker Odsonne Edouard.
It has been no news that Dembele was going to leave the Celtic Park having been linked away from the club with just three months spent at the club following his outstanding form.
The strong links even paved way for rumours that he could leave the club before the end of his first season at the park.
But it seems the Celtic manager Rodgers has been planing for this day and asked the club to sign in Edouard on loan from Paris Saint-Germain to check how good he is.
And earlier this summer, Celtic agrees with PSG’s terms and signed the striker on a permanent deal which cost them a club record fee of £9 million.
Rodgers has been the plug for Celtic knowing very well that Dembele will not be the Celtic Park for long.
Now the Bhoys have two options upfront Odsonne Eduoard and Leigh Griffiths.
Eduoard has sparked an outstanding form for the Scottish giants scoring 4 goals in seven appearances for the club.
