Roberto Firmino works like Animal for both Salah and Me: Sadio Mane

Despite being a striker that lacks goals at times, Sadio Mane has emphasize on the importance of Roberto Firmino in the Liverpool‘s Fab Three claiming the Brazilian works hard like that of an “animal”.

The Fab Three which consists of three Liverpool attacker Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Mohamed Salah bags so much importance for Jurgen Klopp as they were able to reach the finals of the Champions League last season. But with a player missing in the attack line makes the Reds attack less threatening.

Firmino has majorly been praised countless times by the media, pundits and even Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard. Now Mane is the next player hailing the Brazilian striker for his part in the Fab Three and also claiming that both Mane and Salah success has been due to Firmino’s ethic work.

Speaking about the Brazilian, Mane told Bleacher Report: “Lots of people like to talk about me and Salah. It’s nice to hear those things, but the strength of this Liverpool team is the collective.

“You also can’t forget that there’s a guy up front called Firmino who works like an animal for us and makes things easier. And the guys behind us do some extraordinary work. We try to benefit from that and help the team go forward.”

Leaving the praises to Roberto Firmino, Mane also speaks on his idols Ronaldinho and El-Hadji Diouf, how they’ve been a great inspiration when he plays a match.

“When I was young, I had lots of favourite footballers, but Ronaldinho was my real favourite, along with El-Hadji Diouf from Senegal,” he said

“They really inspired me. Those two players were examples for me as a footballer. They were skilful players and good dribblers who beat their opponents easily.

“You also can’t forget that there’s a guy up front called Firmino who works like an animal for us and makes things easier. And the guys behind us do some extraordinary work. We try to benefit from that and help the team go forward.”

“I was a very good dribbler as a young player, but now that I’ve got more experience, there are some useless things that I don’t do anymore. It’s all about making and scoring goals for the team, like my idols did when they were at the peak of their powers.”

Jurgen Klopp will be relying on his Fab Three and the rest of the team to keep their form as they will be facing off Tottenham Hotspur in the fifth Premier League match this Saturday.

Sadio Mane currently leads the chart for top goal scorer with four goals.
