After not having a very successful campaign, AC Milan will be in no doubt be involved in another spending spree this summer, which was confirmed by team captain Leonardo Bonucci, in the hopes to finally stand a chance to win their first Scudetto title since 2011.
Milan directors of football, Marco Fassone and Massilmiliano Mirabelli are said to have made the Valencia forward a top target in the summer to rewrite their history following series of transfers mad last summer.
The Valencia forward, has not been the deadliest in front of goal in the La Liga this season, as he has only been able to bag himself 12 goals in 34 appearances for the Spanish club.
But the Italian club coach, Gennaro Gattuso seems to have placed his transfer interests on AS Roma Edin Dzeko his prime target list to sign come summer. According to report, Gattuso will be more pleased and comfortable to allow Dzeko lead his team upfront this coming campaign, with the experienced he has gathered so far in both Premier League and the Bundesliga while playing for Manchester City and Wolfsburg in their respective leagues.
Dzeko, on the other hand has been a key play in the AS Roma team, leading his club to a Champions League semi-final and has so far scored 24 goals in 46 appearances this season.
