Tottenham injury news ahead of clash against Wolves on Saturday

Ahead of their next Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers, Tottenham Hotspur have some mixed injury news ahead of the game.

Ever since the departure of Mauricio Pochettino from the White Hart Lane, new boss Jose Mourinho has yet to see the fully fit Spurs’ team and it might not happen till the new year as Hugo Lloris will still be out for a long time. That is not really much of an issue anyway.

Since taking over as manager, Mourinho has guided the team to four wins in his first six matches as head coach with only two loss in games he did not win coming from his former club Manchester United and Bayern Munich.

A 3-1 defeat was handed to them by the German giants at Allianz Arena which Mourinho admitted that he rested Dele Alli, Serge Aurier, Harry Kane and Jan Vertonghen for their next match against Wolves on Sunday.

But as those four players will be available for the match against Nuno Espirito side, there are some players who might not be available for the match.

Players like Tanguy Ndombele, Harry Winks, Erik Lamela are all doubt for the trip to Molineaux Stadium, as an injury update was written on Spurs’ official website.

It confirms that Lamela, Ndombele, Vorm and Lloris will not be available for selection while Winks will be available and Ben Davies will be travelling to Qatar for his rehabilitation from the ankle injury he succumbed to in that West Ham match last month.

The statement said: “Erik Lamela (hamstring), Hugo Lloris (elbow) Vorm (calf) & Tanguy Ndombele (groin) – undergoing on-field rehabilitation.

“Harry Winks (ankle) – returned to training with the squad.”

“Ben Davies (ankle) – travelling to our medical partners, in Qatar to continue rehab.”
