Arsenal and Manchester United to battle for 19yo Star

Ahead of the opening of the January winter transfer window, several clubs have had their agents everywhere around the world scouting for a potential player that could bring about a change to their club.

The player now making waves in Europe’s top-flight league is Dejan Kulusevski, who is currently on loan from Atalanta, playing as a midfielder.

The midfielder has been involved in 13 Serie A league matches so far this season, finding the back of the net three times.

The 19-year-old midfielder was sent on loan to Parma last summer as almost no European club show interest in signing the midfielder on a permanent move, despite the £8.5 million price tag placed on his head at the time.

Having had an impressive season with Parma, Atalanta has been reported to have raised the young midfielder price tag to £42 million.

Reports coming from the Sun claims that Premier League giants Arsenal and Manchester United have sent scouting agents to keep an eye on the Swedish starlet.

The report further claims that the two English clubs are currently preparing an offer for the youngster ahead of the January transfer window.

But the English giants are not alone in this pursuit as Atalanta’s domestic rivals Juventus and Inter Milan have also shown interest in the 19-year-old midfielder.

Some clubs have already been reported to have made contact with Kulusevski as they plan to secure his signing sooner rather than later as his transfer value can only seem to increase more before the end of the season.
